As a semi-frequent user of Penn Station, I honestly don't care who runs this initiative or gets the credit, as long as they do a good job of improving the station and don't negatively impact service too much in the process.
As bad as it is the improvements in the last decade are huge.
At least when it comes to the station itself. The next level of progress requires building news tunnels, which has nothing to do with this. That and knocking down MSG.

I don't think the current state of Penn Station is that bad. I can get to where I need to go pretty effectively. It definitely could be better though.
Let’s see him do it for 2 billion instead of 7 billion !
